CIBO - Authentic Italian Cuisine in Phoenix

Located in the heart of downtown Phoenix, CIBO is an Italian restaurant that transports diners straight to Italy with its elegant atmosphere and mouthwatering menu. Specializing in both classic Italian dishes and artisanal pizza, CIBO stands out for its commitment to quality ingredients and authentic recipes.

As you step inside, the cozy yet vibrant decor greets you, accompanied by the smooth sounds of jazz that create a soothing ambiance perfect for any occasion—from casual lunches to celebratory dinners. The outdoor patio, enhanced by misters during the sultry summer evenings, offers a delightful dining experience under the stars.

For lunch, indulge in their exquisite Caprese Tomatoes, featuring fresh mozzarella and aromatic basil drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, a delightful starter for $16. If you're a fan of seafood, the Calamari ($15), lightly tossed in garlic and served with a zesty red pepper aioli, is a must-try. Pair these with some savory Arancini ($14)—crispy fried rice balls filled with butter, peas, and mozzarella, served with a rich tomato sauce.

For pizza lovers, CIBO offers a divine selection with options that will satisfy any palate. Each pizza is crafted with care, striking the perfect balance between a crispy crust and delicious toppings, ensuring every bite is a celebration of flavors. Diners are raving about the quality—one guest, Damien Bonner, a self-proclaimed pizza snob from New York, acknowledged that the prosciutto appetizer he enjoyed was possibly "straight from heaven," highlighting CIBO's exceptional quality.

Don’t forget to save room for dessert! CIBO's Coppa Mascarpone ($12), a luscious chocolate and mascarpone cream delight, and the Sicilian Cannoli ($8), filled with rich ricotta cream, are just a few of the sweet treats that await to end your meal on a high note.

Customer experiences at CIBO truly reflect the warmth and hospitality you can expect at this gem. One guest, Jasmin Alvarez, celebrated her daughter’s birthday only to discover the staff’s attentive service and menu recommendations made her visit unforgettable. Others, like Seth Navas and Chris Serrano, praised the exemplary service and inviting atmosphere that pairs perfectly with their delicious dishes. It’s no wonder that CIBO has quickly become a favorite in Phoenix.

In conclusion, CIBO isn't just a meal; it's an experience steeped in the joy of authentic Italian ingredients and the festive spirit of community dining. We were looking for an Italian place to eat for my daughter's birthday and we found it! We were delighted with the food, the excellent service. They answered all our questions, eventually offering menu recommendations based on our preferences. It is definitely one of my favorite places now. Si buscas un lugar de comida autentica italiana este es el mejor lugar del Centro de phoenix, las portions son grandes y los precios acsesibles , el servicio muy amable, ya es uno de nuestros lugares preferidos.

This is my first time ever coming to this pizza establishment. My dad and I ate some lunch here, and the pizza and service was really good. The pizza was delicious and cooked nicely. Not to burnt, not to soggy, just the right kind. The atmosphere here was soothing to say the least, with jazz music playing, and decorations surrounding us. Overall, it was an amazing experience and i loved it!

Wonderful time at CIBO. We did make reservations for 6 of us and we’re celebrating a birthday. We sat outside. Although it was summer, it was in the evening and they had misters on so it was cool. The food was pretty good. We got a mix of pizzas and pastas to try. The Nutella crepe was great for dessert. I’d definitely come back for the pizza.

Let me start off with a shout out to Jesus for some the best service in a long time. Funny, knowledgeable and great at his job. There's nothing bad I can say about this place. The pizza is immaculate, the pasta is delicious, the limoncello was the best ever. It's so cute and cozy inside and out. Everyone was friendly, it's so nice yet really laid back. Every single part of my and my family's meal, including the dessert I forgot to photograph, was fantastic. Cibo deserves 10/10 and that's what I'm scoring it! Can't wait to go back and try some other pizzas. The best crust I've EVER HAD.

In Phoenix for business and stumbled on Cibo after a quick Google search. As a New Yorker, I fully admit I’m an Italian-food and pizza snob—so I wasn’t expecting much. But wow… this place thousands of miles from home absolutely nailed it. Let’s start with the prosciutto. I have no clue where they source it—possibly straight from heaven—but it completely stole the show. The entire appetizer was fantastic, but that prosciutto? Unreal. For dinner I went with the bolognese, and you can literally taste the hours of love and patience that went into that sauce. Perfectly balanced, rich, and exactly what you hope for when you order it. Food, service, atmosphere—10 out of 10 across the board. Looks like I’ve found my go-to spot for the rest of the week.

I recently got to experience Cibo for the first time after my brother and mom had been going for years. They were not lying about the quality of food. This is the only restaurant I've been to where sitting outside is exciting. The patio is cooled with misters, trees, canopies, and umbrellas. It makes sitting outdoors enjoyable, and the lights make the space magical at night. We enjoyed live music as well, which was especially nice. The staff here is attentive and friendly, so I'm glad that my brother, Michael, has the opportunity to work alongside them. This is the perfect spot for a nice date downtown!

The Pizza Polpettine was insane. Ricotta stuffed crust is an idea and a half and it was so delicious. I mean look at this monstrosity. The service was great. The outdoor seating with Christmas lights wrapped abound the trees was lovely. Highly recommend checking this establishment out if you’re in Phoenix. There was an hour long wait for a party of two on a Saturday night so definitely recommend reservations if you can!
